The new East of West Issue of The Centrifugal Eye is out with two of my poems: “Losing Count” and “and the Stars and the Trees Prostrate”. Esther Greenleaf Mürer also has a poem in it—— nice to be in such fine company! Poems in this issue also may relate to the theme “Elemental,” one of which is “Losing Count,” a poem I wrote about the numbers a friend had texted to me from her dying father’s bedside, statistics of various vital signs dwindling down, which occurred over several days during all hours of the day and night. This haunted me until I wrote the poem.
